Postpartum Doula & Newborn Care Support

Having an experienced Postpartum Doula & Newborn Care Specialist at your side ready and willing to help you as you transition is an often over-looked component of becoming a parent (for the first or fifth time). I am here to help you and your family make a seamless transition into parenthood. But how do you know if you need a Postpartum Doula or a Newborn Care Specialist? 

Typically, Postpartum Doula support is scheduled during the day and primarily focused on the mama-baby duet. Support varies for each family but could include:

• learning different positions to breastfeed in,
• addressing milk production and storage,
• discussing physical and emotional changes in your body from the first few hours after childbirth until several weeks after,
• establishing functionality after baby is born,
• meal planning and preparation,
• nourishing your body,
• healthy sleep routines.

Cost:  $35 per hour (minimums apply)

As a Newborn Care Specialist, support can be scheduled during the day or overnight and is primarily focused on baby which allows you to do other things - like sleep! As if that wasn't enticing enough, I can also:

• teach you newborn care skills like soothing, diapering, feeding, etc.
• hold and/or care for baby while you ....{insert whatever your heart desires here},
• assist with all aspects of newborn care including feeding, burping, diapering, soothing, bathing, etc.
• help you tackle the piles of itty bitty baby clothes,
• sterilize baby bottles, pump parts, pacifiers,
• demonstrate baby-wearing,
• organize the nursery, baby bottles & accessories,
• accompany you and baby while traveling.

Whether it's uninterrupted sleep, a mani/pedi, or an extra pair of hands on deck, I am here for you. I can answer all of your newborn baby care questions, troubleshoot challenges, and together, we can resolve most baby issues. 

Cost:  $35 - $40 per hour (days/overnight; minimums apply)
